James is an interaction designer, artist and researcher.
He has worked professionally in interactive media, film, TV and theatre contexts with clients such as: the BBC; Lego; SkyLab Media; National Museum of Wales; Nike; Toyota, as well as teaching Digital Media Design at the Universities of Falmouth, Teesside and Westminster.
James was awarded his PhD
from the Planetary Collegium (Plymouth University) in 2014. His research connects contemporary network culture with a
field of pre-digital, avant-garde film and video practice.
His interactive artworks, research articles and papers have been published and exhibited internationally.
